This Privacy Policy explains how AtDoor ("AtDoor", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our platform, apps and website.
In short: we collect only what we need to run your delivery business, we never sell your data, and each vendor's business data is isolated. Customers use the app free and control their own information.

1. Who this applies to
AtDoor serves two kinds of users:
- Vendors — local delivery businesses (milk, water cans, newspapers, tiffin and similar) who subscribe to run their operations on AtDoor.
- Customers — the people a vendor delivers to, who use the AtDoor app free of charge to track deliveries, view bills and pay.
This policy covers both. Where a vendor uploads or manages information about their own customers, the vendor is the owner of that data and AtDoor processes it on their behalf.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details — mobile number (used for passwordless OTP sign-in), name, and business name, type and location for vendors.
- Operational data — customers, subscriptions, delivery records, items, prices, bills and payment status that vendors create while using the platform.
- Communications — messages you send us for support.
Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data — device type, app version, and basic usage events needed to operate and improve the service.
- Approximate location — where you grant permission, to set your business address and support delivery features.
- Push notification tokens — to deliver alerts about deliveries, bills and payments.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and operate the AtDoor platform and apps.
- To authenticate you via OTP over WhatsApp or SMS.
- To generate bills, track deliveries and payments, and send relevant notifications.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To comply with legal and tax obligations.
We send transactional notifications (deliveries, bills, payments) as part of the service. Marketing messages are optional and respect your notification preferences — you can opt out at any time.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- Between vendor and customer as needed to run the delivery relationship (e.g. a customer sees their own bills and deliveries).
- With service providers who help us operate — cloud hosting, OTP delivery (SMS/WhatsApp) and payment processing — bound by confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons when required by law, regulation or valid legal process.
- In a business transfer, if AtDoor is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, subject to this policy.
5. Data retention
We retain business and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, accounting and tax requirements. You may request deletion of your account, subject to records we must keep by law.
6. Security
Each vendor's business data is logically isolated, and information is transmitted and stored over encrypted, access-controlled cloud infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. Vendors can also manage most data directly within the app.
8. Children
AtDoor is intended for use by businesses and adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
